Spring Fashion - Purses Part 1

As I was reviewing Spring 2012 fashion trends it struck me that many of the new handbags, purses and clutches this season were very vintage inspired! So I figured I'd blog about some of the purses that made the top 10 list for Editor Picks on Style.com and compare them to the vintage items I think inspired them.

I love finding super cute leather clutches with removable straps from this era. They often have extra zippers, bright colors, interesting texture or additional touches like the bow on the example above. They were always slim, but had multiple pockets and just have a fun feel, sort of like carrying an envelope around with you!
